Euplexis benesimilis

This moth shares with Phlogophora species (which are a little larger) the unusual feature that its wings can be folded into longitudinal pleats. One photograph shows the moth with its wings spread; in the other, the wings are pleated. The two white spots near the rear end of the caterpillar, which feeds on Hedge Nettle Stachys cooleyae, are distinctive.
