Victoria Natural History Society Privacy Policy

The Victoria Natural History Society protects the personal information of its members and other individuals in compliance with the BC Personal Information Protection Act.

1. The Board of Directors of the Victoria Natural History Society (hereafter referred to as the Society) shall be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Privacy Policy.
2. The Society collects contact and interest information directly from members and participants in Society activities.

6. Personal information collected and retained by the Society will only be made available only to individuals who require this information for the performance of their responsibilities on behalf of the Society, or when permitted or required by law.
7. Personal information no longer required by the Society will be disposed of in a manner that ensures the confidentiality of that information.
8. Individuals will be provided access to their personal information held by the Society on request.
9. Complaints or concerns regarding the Society's management of personal information should be directed to the President, Victoria Natural History Society.
