  NOCTUIDAE

Ipimorpha nanaimo

I have found the caterpillar of this species and that of Enargia infumata in a similar situation, hiding between two leaves, on the same cottonwood twig at the same time. The adults of both species emerge in July. Winter is spent as an egg.
