Dysstroma sobria
The differences between this species and D. citrata include the following. In citrata the basal area of the forewing is blackish, separated from the broad blackish median band by a cinnamon brown postbasal band. In sobria the basal area and postbasal band are both cinnamon brown. In citrata the broad median band is rather uniformly blackish, whereas in sobria it is washed through with whitish. The caterpillar is to be found on the leaves and flowers of Tellima grandiflora (Saxifragaceae) and Gaultheria shallon (Ericaceae).
